Measurements are foot length, not shoe length. Our shoes are built on an EU last.

EU / TR UK US Foot length (cm) Foot length (in)
35 3 4.5 22.3 8.8
36 3.5 4.5 23.0 9.1
37 4 5.5 23.7 9.3
38 4.5 6.5 24.0 9.4
39 5 7 25.0 9.8
40 6.5 8 25.7 10.1
41 7.5 9 26.3 10.4

Conversions are the manufacturer’s own. Foot length is the measurement to trust — it is the one that does not change between brands.

How to measure your foot

Two minutes, and it will save you a return.

  1. Measure at the end of the day. Feet swell — a shoe fitted in the morning can be tight by evening, and that effect is stronger in this climate.
  2. Put a blank A4 sheet flat on the floor and stand on it, heel against a wall. Wear the socks or tights you’d normally wear with the shoe.
  3. Without putting your full weight on it, trace around your foot — from the tip of your longest toe to the back of your heel. The longest toe is not always the big one.
  4. Measure between the two marks in centimetres. Do both feet: most people have one that is 2–5 mm longer.
  5. Use the longer foot, and read it against the table above.

WIDTH HEEL TO LONGEST TOE
Trace your foot on paper, then measure heel to longest toe. Width matters only if you know you have a wide or narrow foot.

If your measurement falls between two sizes, order the larger. A slightly roomy shoe can be adjusted with an insole; a tight one cannot be fixed.

Fit notes by style

Style Fit What we’d do
Pointed pumps & courts Runs small Size up, especially if you have a wide forefoot
Round and square toe True to size Take your usual EU size
Ballet flats True to size They relax about a third of a size with wear
Mules True to size Backless styles feel more secure a touch snug
Loafers & moccasins True to size Size up if you’ll wear them with socks
Sneakers Slightly generous Between sizes, go down
Boots True to size Size up for thick socks in winter or for a wide calf

Width and high insteps

Our last is cut slightly wider through the ball of the foot than most European brands, so a standard EU size usually works even for feet that struggle elsewhere. If you have a genuinely wide foot or a high instep, the round-toe, square-toe and mule shapes will be far more comfortable than the pointed ones — and boots with an elasticated panel will be the easiest of all.
